Note:

• Although trained in pulse diagnosis (Nadipariksha), I don't necessarily use this method in my diagnostic work. Rich in information, this technique is used by qualified Ayurvedic doctors or practitioners to gather data for their diagnoses. It's often said that every Ayurvedic practitioner should include it in their consultations, or that Prakriti determination can only be done using this method. This is not my opinion, and it's sometimes better to abstain rather than provide inaccurate information . Ayurveda offers many other techniques for establishing a quality diagnosis; Nadipariksha is one method among many, incredibly effective when mastered, but several parameters come into play.

• Determining Prakriti (birth constitution) is not always straightforward ; in some cases, it is sometimes necessary to treat imbalances in order to clarify the diagnosis.

• To achieve results, the advice given during consultations must be put into practice, often over a long period. When toxins (malas) have accumulated deeply in the tissues, the rebalancing of the doshas cannot be accomplished in a short time.
