Training in SHIROTCHAMPI - SHIRODHARA & TAKRADHARA treatments
Shirotchampi , also called Shiro Abhyanga , is an Ayurvedic massage of the head, scalp, nape of the neck and cervical region, performed with medicinal oils adapted to the constitution ( prakriti ) and imbalances ( vikriti ) of the person.
This practice belongs to the therapeutic oleation techniques (snehana) and acts both on local tissues and on the overall balance of the nervous system.
Traditional indications
° Pacify Vata dosha : nervous tension, mental agitation, tissue dryness
° Pacify Pitta and Kapha dosha : irritability, mental overload, heat in the head, heaviness.
