Ayurvedic treatments in Essaouira

We offer you an exceptional stay in the heights of Sidi Kaouki, 26 km south of Essaouira and less than 1 km from the famous Sidi Kaouki beach.

You will be received in a large, charming Berber-style house, offering all comforts, situated on a 2.5-hectare plot, at the top of a hill with panoramic views of the Berber countryside and the ocean.

The tastefully decorated house offers all modern comforts in a refined and traditional atmosphere, showcasing antique decorative elements.

You can swim in a pleasantly heated, tadelakt infinity pool without chlorine with panoramic views or walk 15/20 minutes if you prefer the ocean.

Comfort does not preclude authenticity; we offer you an Ayurvedic treatment that is always personalized, of high quality, and accompanied by a highly qualified team.

You will benefit from care and treatments based on organic products or from an Ayurvedic clinic renowned for its professionalism and the quality of its components, and you will enjoy the traditional Hammam on site.

If you opt for a 14-day stay, a PANCHAKARMA is possible after consultation on site or via video and mandatory 2-week preparation (adapted diet and lifestyle).

Imane, a skilled cook and initiated into our Ayurvedic approach, will prepare delicious, healthy meals with 6 flavors, using organic and local products.

You will end your stay in style with a traditional scrub provided by a team of Berber professionals (unless contraindication determined during the consultation) followed by a stopover in Essaouira and its Medina.

• PROGRAM

​

- Duration: Stay of 7 days or 14 days (depending on availability).

- Capacity: Group limited to a maximum of 8 people.

​

• ARRIVAL AND TRANSFERS

- Saturday: Departure for Marrakech. Overnight stay at the hotel (recommendation: Hotel IBN Batouta).

- Sunday at 1:00 PM: Meeting point at the IBN Batouta Hotel and departure for Sidi Kaouki in a private minibus (approximately 2 hours 45 minutes journey).

- Direct flight option: It is possible to arrive directly at Essaouira airport. The transfer to La Maison des Sables (40 min / approximately €40) remains at your own expense, but we can arrange this for you.

• FIRST STEPS IN THE TREATMENT

- Sunday (4:00 PM – 7:30 PM): Individual consultations with Amandine Galtier to define your personalized care protocol.

Note: For participants in Panchakarma, a pre-consultation online is scheduled 10 days before departure.

- 7:30pm: Welcome dinner.

• DAILY RHYTHM (Monday to Friday):

​

- 07:45 – 08:45: Dinacharya (morning routine), Meditation and Hatha Yoga.

- 08:45 – 09:15: Breakfast.

- 09:15 – 12:15: Treatments and massages (Group 1) / Free time (Group 2).

- 12:30 – 14:30: Lunch break.

- 2:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.: Treatments and massages (Group 2) / Free time (Group 1).

- 7:30 pm: Dinner.

• WORKSHOPS AND FREE TIME

​

- Monday or Tuesday (4pm – 5pm): Introduction to Ayurveda with Amandine Galtier.

- Thursday (6:00 PM): Basics of Ayurvedic nutrition and Q&A session.

- Thursday (10am): Cooking workshop, group 1

- Friday (10am): cooking workshop group 2

- Free activities: Heated swimming pool, relaxation, reading, walks to Sidi Kaouki beach (20 min walk).

- Optional extras: Horse or camel rides, guided hikes, Berber beauty treatments.

• WEEKEND AND END OF STAY

​

- Saturday morning: Traditional scrub at the Hammam provided by Berber professionals.

- Saturday afternoon: Departure for Essaouira by minibus and visit to the Medina.

- Sunday (1 week stay): Return to Marrakech at 10:00 am. Plan a return flight from 6:00 pm or on Monday for more comfort.

- Sunday (2-week stay) : Rest day for spa guests and staff. Meals and ongoing treatments will continue.

All rooms have a view of the Berber countryside except the Tassioud room (garden view) and the Océane room also has a sea view.

- In a double room for couples (one double bed): the Minzeh, the Arcade, the Zouaq, the Océane OR for friends or people of the same sex: the Zouaq (one double bed + 1 single bed) – Private bathroom: 1690 euros.

- In a shared double room – 2 single beds quite close together (preferably for friends): the Tassioud – Shared bathroom outside the room (10 meters away): 1590 euros.

° 14-day, 14-night stay (12 days of treatment) with full board:

- In a single room (one double bed): Minzeh, Arcade, Zouaq, Océane – Private bathroom: 3400 euros

- In a double room for couples (one double bed): Minzeh, Arcade, Zouaq, Océane OR for friends or people of the same sex: Zouaq (one double bed + one single bed) – Private bathroom – 3200 euros per person

- In a shared double room – 2 single beds quite close together (preferably for friends): the Tassioud – Shared bathroom outside the room (10 m): 2990 euros

• Rental car : it is possible to book a rental car (expect to pay around 200 euros per week), however, a spa treatment requires rest, the beach is within walking distance, a visit to the medina is on the agenda, and the site is so beautiful and rejuvenating that you probably won't feel the need to go any further…
