Training: Pitchauli - Udvartana - Multanim
This training module offers the study and practice of three traditional Ayurvedic body techniques, each associated with specific therapeutic principles and the balancing of certain doshas.
These treatments allow you to explore different Ayurvedic approaches to bodywork:
Snehana (oilation and tissue nutrition)
Rukshana (drying and stimulating action)
Lepana (therapeutic applications of medicinal pastes or clays)
Students will learn the theoretical Ayurvedic principles, the indications according to the doshas, as well as the practical protocols for applying these three techniques.
It is possible to participate in the entire module or in a single session (Pitchauli, Udvartana or Multani Mitti) depending on availability.
Pitchauli
Pitchauli is a deep Ayurvedic massage traditionally performed by four hands , using a generous amount of warm sesame oil. In Indian tradition, this treatment is renowned for its profoundly warming and regenerative effects. It is sometimes associated with body practices favored in certain royal circles in India.
The technique relies on the synchronization of the movements of the two practitioners, who apply similar pressure and rhythm in order to create the impression of a massage performed by a single person with four hands.
